Always a brilliant event - and the Rare Breeds Trust will be there this year, with a display :) - most welcome to have a chat with Judy, who takes rare rbeed sheep and pigs to shows and has great displays.
Our draught horse breeds are rare, these festivals help enormously to keep them going - so many skills involved too, and many make a trek to this event by horse/s and vehicle, so they're truly being used as they were bred for.
Everything heavy horses and more! Loads of demonstrations, stalls, arena events, competitions. Bullocks and camels, donkeys and mules too. Goats in harness! Cobb & Co. coach rides. Lots more!
Camping available, book on through the website as places are limited. Tremendous event!
