Royal Melbourne Show

Yes, it's the biggie of all Victorian shows. Possibly more an entertainment juggeranut than agricultural, but some livestock. No poultry this year as a biosecurity measure, due to Avian Influenza in Victoria.

Clydesdales in harness, blacksmith demonstrations, working dogs, woodchops, fleece competitions, beef competition, and not only that but also! beautiful Rare Breeds of several species including sheep, horses, ponies, beef cattle. Goats and pigs in petting nurseries with other farm animals.

Gadziillions of things to do, entertainment galore, activities for children, demonstrations, refreshments. Always something to watch ringside.  Many Horses in Action classes. The Garryowen Equestrienne Turnout is a coveted prize. Pig racing.
