Darling Downs Heavy Horse Festival

Tremendous weekend enjoying draught horses - all rare or recovering breeds - Clydesdale, Suffolk Punch and Percheron will be there, also Australian Draughts and more. Loads of fabulous demonstations of horses, bullocks and donkeys working. Our Australian Teamster donkeys will be there. Breed displays.

Ridden events - and jousting! Displays of all things draught horse, such as putting a metal tyre on a waggon or cart wheel. Ploughing. How to fit harness. Wonderful atmosphere - people who love what they do and who kindly share knowledge.

So many demonstations and vehicles and entertainment. Trade stalls. Food trucks, handcrafts, and more more more. A perfect weekend for the family. Tickets on their website or at the gate on the day,  a weekend pass may be bought too.
